Vacuum Stainless Steel Flange SS304 Vacuum Components ISO Blank Flange

The ISO-KF system is a modular, building block method of creating a piping system. There are several advantages in the use of IS0 components. Since component dimensions are standardized, elbows, tees, crosses or valves for a given size may be interchanged.

The flanges are "sexless" and the seal is symmetrical, so that the components are rotatable. By using Iso components, system assembly is quick and cost effective. See Figure 1 for the ISO dimensions of flange sizes 10, 16, 25, 40 and 50. These dimensions apply to ISO-KF flanges of these nominal diameters throughout this catalog.

Optional fastener flanges are joined around the periphery with clamps.

Double claw clamps are used when a pair of OF flanges are joined,

or single claw clamps are used to join an OF flange to a tapped nonrotatable on a pump or gate valve.This fastening method allows the OF flange to be rotateforease of component alignment. Additionally, a rotatable bolt ring can be used to fasten an OF flange to a nonrotatable flange using bolts. 

A retainer ring prevents the OF flange from slipping through the bolt ring. Nonrotatable ISO flanges are assembled with bolts.

They do not allow rotation of bolt holes on mating flanges to align components.
