PTFE Hose with Spiral Wire and Braided Outer Layer
This is a high-performance composite hose made of a PTFE (Teflon) inner tube reinforced with an external steel wire structure. It is designed to handle corrosive, high-temperature, or high-purity media with exceptional reliability.
The construction generally falls into two categories:
- For standard pressure applications: The inner tube is corrugated for flexibility and wrapped with a stainless steel braid to withstand working pressure.
- For vacuum or demanding mechanical applications: A spiral steel wire is added between the tube and the outer braid. This provides extra rigidity to prevent collapse under negative pressure, while the outer braid ensures high pressure resistance.
This combination offers superior corrosion resistance, a wide service temperature from -70°C to 260°C, high mechanical strength, and a non-stick inner surface that facilitates easy cleaning and sterilization.

Application:
Used for transporting highly corrosive chemicals, hot air, hot oil, steam, etc., not suitable for steam cold cycle.
Technical parameters:
Teflon tubing has no aging issues and excellent resistance to atmospheric aging.
Resistance to moisture and ultraviolet radiation, radiation resistance, and low permeability.
- Good corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, and low temperature resistance
- Inner liner: corrugated PTFE hose, covered with stainless steel wire weaving on the outside
Suitable for CIP and SIP cleaning.
- Temperature range: -70 ℃ -+260 ℃.
