LVM Sterile sampling valves are engineered and calibrated to facilitate the sampling of medium-viscosity products ranging from 0 to 1,000 centipoise (cP) in viscosity, and containing particles up to 3mm in diameter. The ASV series Sampling Valve is primarily designed for extracting samples from tanks or pipelines. Additionally, it can be installed at the base of tanks or pipelines to facilitate the drainage of residual contents.

At the junction of flow channels, immiscible media are employed to prevent mixing and facilitate separation. In the closed configuration of the valve, a dual seal is established between the two pipelines, effectively eliminating any possibility of liquid leakage from one to the other. Should the sealing component become compromised, leakage can be directed through the valve's leakage chamber to the exterior. Additionally, a dedicated CIP (Clean-In-Place) connection supplies a cleaning solution to the isolation chamber, allowing for its cleaning independently of the valve's position.
