CF Rotatable bored blank flange

The Rotatable Blank Flange is a type of flange used to connect pipes or equipment, designed to close interfaces or orifices within a pipe system. It typically consists of two flanges and a sealing ring that is connected between them. The term "loose" in the name of this flange signifies the loose connection between the flange and the sealing ring. This design feature allows for a certain degree of relative movement and adjustment between the two flanges, enabling them to adapt more flexibly to distortions or deformations that may occur during the installation and use of the pipe or equipment.

    Features

The high sealing effect and the low leak rate performance of CF flange connection is a result of gasket material. When assembling the CF flange connect ,the knife edge is pressed into the flat copper gasket and force the seal material both axially as well as radially outwards to the flange. The material is enclosed and cannot flow even at high bakeout temperature.Due to this deformation of the sea such connections may sometimes stick together. They can be easily separated with a special tool or screwdriver.

    Application

It is often used in systems that require frequent disassembly or require a certain degree of flexible connection, such as pipe systems, container connections, etc. It can provide reliable sealing performance and has a certain degree of pressure resistance, temperature resistance and corrosion resistance. Therefore, loose blind flanges have been widely used in the industrial field.

    High Vacuum Performance

CF flanges are rigorously designed and are specifically used in ultra-high vacuum (UHV) systems. They can provide excellent vacuum sealing performance and are suitable for applications with extremely high vacuum requirements.
