 CF Flange  tube container is a standard component in ultra-high vacuum (UHV) systems, used to create a leak-tight, metal-sealed enclosure for a specific volume. Typically, it's not a single "container," but rather a modular assembly of flanges, tubes, fittings, and blank-offs that together form a sealed chamber

The CF flange connection consists of two identical flanges with a flat gasket made of OFHC copper,
bolts,nuts.Because  the  applications  are  UHV  environments,so  the  preparation  work  is  very
important before installation.Surface cleaning guarantees the lowest possible outgassing and leak rate.

CF flanges are available with either tapped or untapped holes. Tapped flanges come in UNC/UNF or metric threading options. These flanges feature through holes, allowing bolts to slightly extend beyond the back of the flange when secured to an untapped flange.

The Rotatable Blank Flange is a type of flange used to connect pipes or equipment, designed to close interfaces or orifices within a pipe system. It typically consists of two flanges and a sealing ring that is connected between them. The term "loose" in the name of this flange signifies the loose connection between the flange and the sealing ring. This design feature allows for a certain degree of relative movement and adjustment between the two flanges, enabling them to adapt more flexibly to distortions or deformations that may occur during the installation and use of the pipe or equipment.

It consists of two parts: one is a pipe with a flange, and the other is a flange with corresponding flange holes. In this way, the two parts can be fixed together by screws or other means to form a stable connection. When the pipe needs to be removed or replaced, it can be easily removed by simply unscrewing the screws.

Threaded flanges offer UNC/UNF or metric thread options and feature through holes that allow the bolt to slightly protrude beyond the back of the flange when fastened to a non-threaded flange. Non-threaded CF flanges can be connected using stainless steel bolts and hex nuts or plate nuts.

For CF flanges with outer diameters between 2 3/4 and 10 inches (33.96 to 254mm), 12-point bolts can be used instead of standard hex head bolts. In clean room environments, silver-plated bolts are designed to eliminate the need for anti-seize compounds.

As a substitute for hex head bolts, 12-point bolts are an option for CF flanges sized between 2 3/4 and 10 inches (33.96 to 354mm) in outer diameter. Silver-plated bolts are designed to obviate the need for anti-seize compound in clean room settings.
